Why these AI PLG's?
Created by educators, for educators — with purpose and practicality at the core.

I’m Bex Rose — an experienced school leader, AI consultant, and passionate advocate for using technology to enhance, not overwhelm, our education system. After more than 20 years in the classroom and in leadership, I deeply understand the complexity, pressure, and potential of our schools.
Over the past 9 months, I’ve delivered AI Summits across Aotearoa, connecting with nearly 1,000 educators — from Kerikeri to Christchurch — listening to what’s really needed:
✨ Time-saving strategies
✨ Safe, practical tools
✨ Clear direction on how AI fits into the NZ education context
✨ And above all — leadership with integrity, clarity, and heart
These PLGs were born from those conversations.
They’re designed to create space for school leaders to:
- Learn together
- Trial tools with support
- Build their school’s capability
- Stay accountable to actually using what they learn
Whether you're a principal, AP/DP, or digital lead — you don’t have to do this alone. These groups give you the community, clarity, and confidence to lead AI in a way that’s right for your kura.
Let’s shape the future of education — one purposeful decision at a time.
Three Groups to Choose From
Our Principal PLG will empower leaders to confidently integrate AI by demystifying tools and aligning them with strategic goals for improved planning and administration, while the AP/DPs PLG will focus on practical AI applications to streamline daily tasks and enhance support for staff and students. Simultaneously, the Digital Leads PLG will provide hands-on experience with AI tools and resources, ensuring they can effectively guide their schools through technological advancements, with all three groups benefiting from a national network for ongoing support and future readiness.
